Practices for ALL teams will be moved to the Atrium (at school) due to high winds on the river. We will begin promptly at 3:15 PM so make sure to be on time. We will finish around 5 PM.

Please come prepared to lift and move heavy bags. Also, be aware of what the weather is predicted to be like.

Athletes & Parents;

As you may have heard Bishop Ireton is closed today due to a small fire in the building. Fortunately for us our boathouse is still in one piece.

Practice today for ALL teams is from 3 PM to 6 PM at ACBA (just like after school). This is a great opportunity for us to use our time wisely and efficiently – getting out every line up we intend to race on Saturday morning.

Athletes, please do your best to accomodate rides for everyone in your cars. It is imperative that all the rowers and coxswains attend today’s practice as we are preparing for our races and need each other in order to complete line ups.

Varsity Athletes & Parents;

We have our design now for the Bishop Ireton Crew Jacket (made by Boathouse – picture on the order form). Please return the form and check to Coach Eric as soon as possible. More pressing is, if you plan on ordering a jacket, please email me your size by Friday, December 16th, at 4 PM to be included in the first order. After Friday I can not guarantee that your jacket will be delivered by the start of the Spring season.

Varsity Women’s Training Cancelled for Wednesday 10/5

Training for the Varsity Women’s Rowing team is cancelled for this afternoon – Wednesday 10/5. Please take this time to rest, get school work done, and prepare for your erg on Friday and race on Sunday.

The training for the Varsity Men and Freshmen teams are still on. The bus will leave BI at 3:15 and leave the boathouse (to return to school) at 6 PM as usual.
